I am Rachel, owner of Pure Blanc Nails & Spa in Palatine.

I immigrated to the U.S. from South Korea 14 years ago. Since I was little, I was very interested in the beauty sector, and I started to get properly trained and educated in the beauty industry. In 2001, I got the nail technician’s certificate, nail instructor’s certificate in 2004, and hairstylist certificate in 2013. I spent over two years, teaching people who dream of becoming nail technicians, and just like that, I’ve built and refined my career and skills by doing what I like.

 

Being pretty and beautiful is what everyone always dreams of, and strives for. With what I’ve learned over 20 years in the beauty industry, I have always tried to provide the best service for the customers in their shoes. The joy I get from working comes from satisfied customers after getting their nails done. Providing the special care only available at the Pure Blanc, with the focus on the feedbacks and/or needs, is what I do.

 

Although we simply give a manicure, pedicure services, and the place is not a big and fancy shop, we not only make our customers pretty and beautiful but also always try our best to make the shop a comfortable and enjoyable place for them when being cared of. We have new collection products every season, and we use branded products; OPI, Essie, and Zoya (eco-friendly, non-toxic polish).
